Show volunteers needed!
The 29 Annual Central Oregon Wildflower Show is July 1-2! We need volunteers for a variety of positions between June 29 and July 2, from flower collectors to those who can vase up the flowers or be available for a variety of volunteer positions..

June 29: Folks who can go out and collect plants. Collection routes still available!
June 30: Vasing and display setup day!
No experience required!
This is also the day we do all plant identification. Botany experience preferred.
July 1-2: SHOW DAYS!!
We need 2 hour shifts for cashiers, plant sales and helping with the lectures at SHARC. No experience required!

SHOW PLANNING MEETING FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS: Wednesday, June 28, 5:30-6pm at the Sunriver Nature Center.
We will discuss how to responsibly collect flowers and how to preserve them until they are in vases.
In addition, we will be going over the use of the iPad and payment devices, lecture set-up and WFS set-up details as well as information on various roles for volunteers. Light refreshments will be provided.
The show is held at the Sunriver Nature Center
(57245 River Road); lectures will be at SHARC.

2016 was our best year yet with 270 plants on display (10 more than in 2015); a sold out native plant sale and hugely attended lectures and wildflower walks!
